ON ARRIVAL

In-house guests are advised to arrive at least 15 minutes before their appointment. Bathrobes/special loose garments and slippers are provided in the changing room. If you arrive later than 15 minutes before the appointment, the duration of your treatment can be affected.

PAYMENTS

All treatments must be prepaid before the service can be carried out. Online reservations are pre-authorised to your credit or debit card. At Silver Spa we accept cash, Visa, and MasterCard.

GIFT CARDS/VOUCHERS

An ideal present, gift cards/vouchers are available in exchange for any treatment and/or service, exchangeable at Silver Spa.

‘Gift Cards’ or ‘Gift Vouchers’ are not refundable and must be presented at the time of treatment. Please note that a Gift Card/Voucher otherwise each voucher is only valid at a specific location where it was purchased from.

MINORS

Young adults ages 15 to 16 may use the spa facilities during 9.00am – 7.00pm only.

Children under the age of 14 may not use the facilities without an on-site adult supervision.

PREGNANCY

Some experts advise that during your pregnancy you should not have a traditional Thai massage – and avoid having a massage at the beginning and before giving birth periods. For example, one advises that a massage should avoided during your first 16 weeks of pregnancy - also see further guidelines from the NHS.

If you are pregnant, please ask your doctor or give us a call before booking. Some spas including ours recommend people not to have treatments during the first trimester, and avoid going if you're beyond 32 weeks.

During pregnancy, it's advisable to avoid traditional Thai massage. Whereas it is generally recommended that you only receive massage therapy after the first trimester of your pregnancy, some may argue there is actually no evidence that a soft and gentle massage in itself is unsafe even during that early period. Our therapists and many experts and healthcare providers, including the NHS, recommend against massage during the first trimester and after 32 weeks of pregnancy. If you are pregnant, it's best to consult your doctor and get their approval before booking a massage.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS

If you have undergone any surgery within the past 6 months, suffer from any medical condition or are pregnant please advise us at the time of booking and immediately before your treatment. Our therapists will guide you to ensure that your experience suits and compliments your physical condition.

CANCELLATIONS

Please allow 48 hours notice of cancellation to avoid an automatic 50% charge.

Abusive behaviour will result in your removal from the premises.

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all areas.

And, with respect, sexual activities (in any forms and by any means) are prohibited,

it is prohibited to use mobile phones, video cameras, or personal stereos during your visit.
